Shipping Information
For over 25 years we have taken great pride in the care and proprietary packaging that gets your order to your door fresh, anywhere in the United States. We are also strategically located one mile from a major shipping hub, which lets us steam your crabs late in the day; depending on the shipping method you choose, your crabs can arrive less than 24 hours from the time they were steamed.
Ordering Deadlines
- Place your order online by 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Market availability and pricing can change daily, so we recommend reserving as early in the day as possible.
- There are no Sunday or Monday arrivals.
Delivery Fees to Know
- Saturday deliveries carry a $20.00 surcharge.
- Hawaii and Alaska deliveries carry an additional $20.00 fee.
How Your Order Is Packed
Your products are carefully placed in an insulated cooler with gel packs and/or dry ice. A few things worth knowing:
- Dry ice is used on all 2-day shipping options, and hard shell crabs may arrive partially or fully frozen on those routes.
- When frozen items ship alongside freshly steamed crabs, dry ice may be used; the frozen items may arrive thawed, or the crabs may freeze in transit.
- None of this affects the quality of your seafood; a brief steam brings crabs back to eating temperature.

Important Shipping Advice
- For time-sensitive special occasions, we strongly recommend scheduling perishable orders to arrive at least a day early. FedEx and UPS see increased volumes, weather and other delays, and their arrival dates and times are estimates only.
- We pack every order with enough gel ice and dry ice to last additional days in transit.
- Packages delivered within one day of the estimated arrival date are considered on time.
