HOW TO PREPARE SOFT
SHELL CRABS FOR COOKING
DIRECTIONS


• With kitchen scissors, cut the face side of the crab
from the body thick enough to remove the eyes.

• Turn the crab over and pull up on the apron on the
belly side and cut off.

• Turn the crab over again so the blue shell is facing up
and lift the ends of the shell to reveal the lungs.

• Remove them also and you are now ready to cook your softshell crab
