Being from Pennsylvania, with relatives in Baltimore, and also graduating from Univ. of MD at College Park, I have been eating hardshell crabs for more than 50 years. I ordered this gift set for several of my family members for Christmas; and they loved it. The cookbook has some very good recipes so the spices come in handy.
